GEAMCC Cornwall

First thoughts on Cornish riding - you certainly need to have your wits about you as you navigate down and up the local twisty very narrow lanes - tractors, cars, bikes, animals etc lurk around blind bends - that said once off the 'beaten track' traffic is nearly non existent, scenery is truly outstanding and the first green lanes we've been down are excellent.

Riding has started so keep watching this page

Kev and Sarena have started to map the trails and scenic roads of Cornwall. There are lots to explore and log.  We'll keep you updated on our progress.  In the future there will be a Wander Exercise down here and an Adventure Trail Series.

SATMAP trial in Cornwall
Craig Zocher from www.azcari.com has supplied a demo unit for Kev to run an extensive test.  Kev will be using 1:50 000 and 1:25 000 OS maps on the unit.  The testing will include navigation and logging of trails and points of interest in Cornwall plus a route from Cornwall up to Berkshire for September.  Kev has already used the system in Spain for a weeks familiarisation plus has been riding with the unit in UK.  Keep an eye on this and the equipment section for updates.

Trail food coming soon

We've had some great meals produced on some of the ride-outs and events.  We've also had some rubbish efforts as well! This section will soon list some tried and tested trail recipes that you can cook with ease using basic ingredients and pots etc. If you would like to put forward any suggestions then please email Kev through the contacts page.
